Large, tapered fruits are 8″ long x 3″ wide and can be picked green or left on the plant a little longer and harvested red. The fruits mature earlier to red than other varieties. Enjoy this wonderful pepper about 72 days after setting plants out in the garden. Grow in full sun, at least 6 hours of direct sun a day, in soil that is rich in organic matter and well drained. The peppers start green and mature to red on the vine with a sweet smoky flavor. Huge, 8 inch, elongated fruits are so delicious they should be named ‘BIG DELICIOUS’. Flavor is excellent at the green stage becoming even more delectable in the mature red stage, the sweet smoky taste enhanced when grilled, roasted or fried.
