Description

For a high drama accent in landscapes and large containers, choose Ablazin’ Salvia. These are sizable, well-branched plants that add structure and height to landscape beds with the bonus of attracting hummingbirds and butterflies too. Their colorful bracts remain long after the actual flowers drop, so the plants display great color all season. For a high drama accent in landscapes and large containers, choose Ablazin’ Salvia. The Ablazin’ Salvia are annuals except in freeze free zones where they can come back from the roots under warmer conditions. They must have full sun to remain thick and full and flower at their best. While they are the bigger, easier cousins to old fashioned bedding salvia they do not need deadheading and will grow about two feet in height. Easy and very rewarding!

Also they are hummingbirds magnets, the bright red and purple blooms are a wonderful way to watch the hummingbirds feed all summer. Ablazin’™ like full sun, regular watering and will grow larger and bloom more if regularly fertilized on a weekly or every other week feeding.
